Girls Varsity Indoor Track at Ursinus High School Invitational

CRN Girls Track & Field at Ursinus High School Invitational           The Council Rock North Girls Track & Field Team kicked off it's indoor season at Ursinus College this weekend. Jr. Lorena Ye (3rd, Mile), Sr. Ally Fox (8th, 3k) and So. Julia LaPlante (9th, PV) all had top 10 finishes individually. The Distance Medley Relay of Jr. Sarah Needham, Fr. Ella Needham, Fr. Claire Pfanstiel and So. Avery McLaughlin also had a top 10 finish with their 14:10, good for 7th. All results are below. The girls team will next compete this Friday, December 13, 2019 at Lehigh University for the Delaware Valley Girls Track Coaches Association (DVGTCA) Meet #1. TFCAofGP Meet #1 Recap

The CRN Mens Indoor Track Team competed this past Saturday at the TFCAofGP's Meet #1. Athletes can qualify for the TFCAofGP Meet of Champions by hitting either the Meet of Champions standard or finishing in the top 2. Senior Jake Boyd accomplished both of those tasks this Saturday, finishing as runner up in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:03.28. Fellow senior CJ Haas also qualified for the Meet of Champions clearing 6' 0" in the boys High Jump. DVGTCA Meet #1 Recap

The CRN Womens indoor track team competed in the DVGTCA Meet #1 this past Friday. The Indians had a number of outstanding performances. Senior Marissa Hsu qualified for the DVGTCA Meet of Champions in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 8.10s! Marissa also hit the PTFCA State Qualifying Guideline in the Long Jump with a jump of 17 feet 6 inches; the top 15 jumpers at the end of the year who have hit the guideline will qualify for the PTFCA State Championships! Junior Kate Donnelly, also cleared the Meet of Champions and State Guideline height of 5' 3" taking second place on Friday night! The Distance Medley Relay of Avery McLoughlin ('22), Emma Sottile ('22), Daphne Vorel ('20) and Noelle Halikman ('20) hit the provisional standard for the Meet of Champions. Sophomore Lorena Ye also ran the Meet of Champions provisional qualifying time, running a time of 5:54.41s! Full meet results are below:

CRN Girls Cross Country Wins SOL National Title

The CRN Girls Cross Country Team took the team title at the 2018 Suburban One League Championships at Lehigh University on Friday. Olivia Bing ('21) led the way for the Indians with a 4th place finish. Avery McLaughlin ('22), Lorean Ye ('21), Daphne Vorel ('20) and Noelle Halikman ('20) rounded out the scorers for the Indians all placing in the top 15 in the National Conference Championship Race. This is the first SOL Title for the girls since 2008! In the Junior Varsity race Anna Birman ('19), Bridget Burke ('19) and Ellie Spasova ('20) all finished with top 20 perfomances and led the Indians to a top 5 finish in the SOL JV Race. Council Rock Invitational - Meet Preview

09/20/2018 VIRTUAL MEET GIRLS: After a strong meet at PTXC 10 and a solid showing at DE's White Clay Classic, Andrea Miller of Governor Mifflin will look to keep it rolling Saturday at the Council Rock Invite. Miller was third in the Gold Race at PTXC and then came back a week later to take second in the Senior Race at White Clay. She'll be challenged by a good field, though. Neshaminy's Kaylee McCullough was fourth, right behind Miller at PTXC and then took sixth at Briarwood last week. Look for her to race for the win. Cheltenham's Janelle Williams, Council Rock South's Marisa Kilgarriff, Central Bucks South's Madi Tomaselli, North Penn's Maeve Gimbert, and Harriton's Michelle Qin will also be near the front, competing for spots in the top five. In the team race, the squad to beat is Governor Mifflin, which placed third at PTXC 10 earlier this season. Led by Miller, GM has some solid depth again this season. Council R

The girls finished 1st out of 3 teams at the Delaware Valley Invitational. The Indians were lead by Junior Daphne Vorel with a winning time of 20:57. The Indians had 8 out of the top 10 finishers on the day.
